First of Many SALI Pet Events
SALI had our first community event Sunday June 28th. Dogs were bathed, brushed, and nails clipped. There was a steady stream of dogs from 10:00 until 3:30. Then we had a wait list of up to 7 dogs. Small, medium, large, we lost count of the number of dogs washed, but it must have been more than 50!

Twelve-year-old Kali Brauckmann has always had a heart for animals, whether furred, feathered or covered in scales.As a youngster, the Crescent Park Elementary student would shelter creatures wounded by traffic or the family cat, nursing them back to health or, with the help of her parents, getting them the help they needed...
